I made The Amazon Project from a few striking, carefully framed scenes. I tied those moments into one story about a young man who goes deep into the Amazon to hunt. It’s an intimate journey.
We follow him through rivers and forest, and the roar of the insects and birds around. The film focuses less on spectacle and more on well timed cuts, carefully selected moments and curated sound bites.
